"Arlene & I had an older Golden Retriever that we had to put to sleep last year. Through a neighbor, we found Colorado-Golden Retrievers. It was the best scenario you could ask for. The kids literally slept with the pups - and were available 24 x 7. In fact, Koa was already housebroken when we took him home at 8 weeks and picked him up last April. The vet has always reported that he is normal and healthy.
We took Koa to an obedience training course and the instructor commented that "he was the star student." Koa went to the groomers about a month ago and they commented, "He is very alert for a golden - the breeders must have done a great job of acclimating him as a pup."

Bottom line - after this experience with these breeders - There is no way I would get a Golden at a pet store. These guys are excellent and take their job seriously. They truly love their dogs and are just as conscientious on who they sell the pups to. We highly recommend them as Golden breeders!"

"We are having so much fun with Drake. He is doing very well! He is learning to go on walks and is already friends with one of our cats. Our other cat, Toby, is a little scared, but we are sure he will warm up very soon.
We have already received so many comments about "what a beautiful dog" he is. We couldn't agree more. He must have been very well socialized as he is doing very well with other people. He is adapting extremely well to our home. He sleeps through the night and doesn't seem to be missing his littermates. I am sure the blanket you gave us helps a lot."

"Ruby (formerly known as “Molly”) is doing great. She was a little sad leaving her brother-sisters and family. She did great on her 4 hour drive to Redstone. No mistakes in the house, loves her new crate, still eating and only woke up once for a potty break last night. She has made many new friends and loves the mountains. It was 21 degrees when she woke up this morning and she thought is was perfect for a little stroll.
